High-quality PlantonicTM has the following typical properties

- - Specific gravity over 1.005
- - Color and appearance: dark reddish-brown transparent solution
- - Odor: pungent smokey vinegar, becomes less pungent with dilution
- - Sediment is natural but there should be no floating matter
